Hi there, I'm Allison 👋. Very nice to be here, after just finishing up the podcast with Josh and Yancey.

I've been in the LoFi/decentralized space for a long time, working many years ago on a data locker project at Singly, then later wireless mesh radios at Filament.

Today I spend my time building a standalone NAS hardware for audio professionals at Tonic Audio called Haven. No cloud, no AI training, just a super fast machine on your desk that connects to other Havens over encrypted channels.

But always every time I'm interested in the LoFi/decentralized, small, and self-contained computing approach, so you can see why it's so delightful for me to stumble into DFOS, very excited to explore more.
