Alternative ways I'm using DFOS
APRIL 22ND, 2026

I love using DFOS the way it's meant to be used. But I've also been quietly using it in a couple of other ways and wanted to share!
One is a private space I've been running for a while. How I use it keeps shifting as I migrate my workflow -- and as new DFOS features drop (Desktop 2 is going to be a gamechanger) I find myself liking it more and more as a central space for all of my digital brains.
The other is testing it as exhibition infrastructure -- from the curatorial side all the way through: artist liaising, planning, production. The whole process, not just the back end. More on this soon!
Consider thinking about DFOS like this -- a space for you, your communities, your work, your projects.
Curious if anyone else is using DFOS in unexpected ways.
