Open studio is a space for experiments, for failures.
It is a space for half-baked ideas and new directions both dangerous and liberating. This is a space for art as work, art as a journey, art as struggle, art as asking questions into silence. Art: not as commodity, brand, or algorithm, but as an evolving field of infinite possibility; a dialogue; a journey; a succession of fragments finding their way into the hazy light of this dark forest. Some of these possibilities are expanded upon, some remain just as they are.
As we congregate in dark forests, our lives become slightly more spacious. Extending ourselves into a world of strangers, we cross paths. Our lives bleed into each other: strange and sad and indeterminate processes stretch out far beyond what we think we know. Ideas, forms, and practices evolve as they reiterate themselves across mediums. We grow closer to ourselves.
